Re: What about CPU`s trades in franquise mode?

The thing I find unrealistic about trades is guys who were just signed to long-term deals being put on the trading block. I've seen the Yanks put CC on the trading block in June, when they're in first place.

The most unrealistic thing I've seen so far is in my RTTS, the Twins signed Roy Halladay for 9 years, 140 mil, and he retired after the first season with the Twins due to "poor free agent market" I don't think he would have to worry about that with 8 years left on his contract.

thats because the Yanks don't near as much money in this game as they do in real life. They are looking to cut some salary in order to be buyer's in the offseaon or playoff push.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I don't think anyone would be selling their Ace in June because they needed more money for the offseason or to get a guy for the playoffs. That makes little sense.

Maybe so, but that seems to be why they are doing it. He's making 16 mil the first year in the game and at the time the Yanks put him up there in my game, they only had 27 million dollars in funds.

Best thing is, they didn't trade him.

Someone should do a test to see what it takes to get CC. I bet in real life in the Yankees could get Garza, Shields, Upton and Zobrist, they'd trade CC.

Im not saying he should ever be on the trading block in year 1, but lets be honest, players are always for sale for the right price.

Go into the trade screen and pick a guy that isnt on the trade block. Technically, the Yanks aren't looking to move him (lets say Joba), but I bet they will for the right price.

I messed around and offered Pujols, Wainwright, and Ludwick and they turned me down. LOL
